Sheila has had a varied career in law, investigation, regulation of the profession, policy in Whitehall, management, mediation, psychology and training. Over the course of 35 years she has successfully prosecuted in criminal cases and handled a wide variety of negligence, personal injury and children and family matters. Whilst always aiming to reach sensible negotiated settlements and forming strong relationships with clients, Sheila is tough when she needs to be and clients have been known to say of her: ‘I’m glad she’s on our side, not theirs’.

Currently Sheila undertakes a range of civil litigation work including:

• Personal injury
• Breach of contract
• Civil fraud
• Consumer Rights Act 2015 cases (which now encompasses the Sale of Goods and Services Act, and Unfair Contract Terms Act)
• Family and children matters
• Residential conveyancing
• Landlord and tenant matters

Sheila is also a qualified Yachtmaster who now prefers sunny climes to the past years of racing in the Channel and France. She loves dance, yoga, Pilates, theatre and the arts, and spending time with her family and friends.

About Sheila
