‘I have fought for the rights of injured people and to maximise compensation, whatever the level of injury, for over 20 years. My main focus is to ensure that as part of the legal claim, clients’ lives (and their families’) are substantially improved as quickly as possible.’

Jenny Holt qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and has been practising almost exclusively in claimant personal injury law ever since. Renowned for her passion and commitment in helping her clients rebuild their lives following serious injury, she is recognised as a leading practitioner and now specialises in cases involving injuries suffered by military servicemen and women, as well as undertaking all types of serious injury work.

A hands-on and empathetic solicitor, Jenny prides herself on delivering the very best service to her clients. Establishing rehabilitation pathways as quickly as possible is always high on the agenda. It is important to Jenny that her clients’ lives are put back together as quickly as possible, offering hope for the future and a base from which to move forward. It is this focus and personal approach that drives her to achieving the best possible settlements.

And it’s not just her clients that Jenny is dedicated to helping, she also plays an active role away from the office in fighting for the rights of the injured and disabled. Having developed a special interest in amputee cases, she is an honorary life member of the Limbless Association (a national charity that supports amputees), as well as a member of the parliamentary All Party Limb Loss Group (APLLG) which holds regular meetings at the House of Lords to ensure that issues of concern to amputees remain on the public and parliamentary agenda.

In brief
  • A leading practitioner specialising in cases involving injured military servicemen and women.
Passionate and formidable solicitor with a particular interest in cases involving amputees.
  • Regularly achieves multi-million pound settlements. Recent highlights include a £2.7m settlement for an amputee and a £1.5m settlement for a former Warrant Officer who was medically discharged from the Army Air Corps following ENT surgery.
  • Other areas of expertise include brain and spinal injury, multiple trauma and psychiatric injury, claims involving the Motor Insurers Bureau (for uninsured or untraced drivers) and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (claims arising out of criminal assault).
  • Outside of work, Jenny enjoys travel, the arts, spending time with her daughter and walking her border terrier in the Suffolk countryside.
