Catherine Mathieu, a French-speaking solicitor, is a new addition to the team at Austen Jones Solicitors and brings with her nearly 20 years’ legal experience and a rare combination of UK and French legal expertise.
Catherine, who recently qualified as a full STEP member, has worked for a number of London-based law firms. She has also earned an enviable reputation as a seasoned corporate lawyer, specialising in international cross-border issues – immigration, employment and human resources. Her knowledge of a broad range of sectors including retail, engineering, automotive, fashion and sports, coupled with her experience acting for a number of high-profile individuals and families, has given her a unique understanding of the different mindsets and cultures of clients across different jurisdictions, as well as insight into their needs and concerns from a broader commercial perspective.
When she’s not busy working, Catherine enjoys swimming, doing 10K runs and travelling with her family and friends.
